ALeksandra Kamieniecka

RITS’ strategic goal is to develop the company’s business model towards providing advanced, sustainable IT services for global companies. We deeply believe that diversity is not only a driving force but also a source of inspiration and innovation for us. The opportunity to learn from each other, clash different perspectives, different ways of thinking, and different work styles brings benefits not only to the organization itself but above all to our employees. Creating an open and engaging work environment where everyone’s voice will be heard and is important to us is crucial says Aleksandra Kamieniecka, Head of HR at RITS Professional Services.

RITS DEI certification process in a nutshell
The certification process involves assessing company’s policies, practices, and culture to ensure they align with DEI principles. RITS completed a detailed DEI assessment application, submitted documentation, and participated in an evaluation.

The certification’s audit process applies expertise in psychology, organizational development, and social justice to assess quantitative diversity and inclusion data as well the results from an independent survey of employee DEI perceptions and experiences.

A DEI Certification Committee consists of DEI experts and leaders from diverse leaders evaluated the information provided against their benchmark and finally, we can say – we did it!

RITS received The Diversity Equity Inclusion Workplace™ certificate and our company is recognized diverse and inclusive across a wide range of diversity and inclusion dimensions. The certification is eligible for renewal every two years.

Why Diversity, Equity, Inclusion are so important for RITS?

At RITS, we recognize that each individual brings a unique set of experiences, perspectives, and talents to our organization. By embracing diversity in our hiring and many other daily activities, we harness the power of these differences to drive innovation, enhance creativity, and promote collaborative problem-solving. We firmly believe that a diverse team enriches our capabilities and strengthens our ability to adapt and grow in a constantly changing business environment – highlights Aleksandra Kamieniecka.

Diversity at RITS touches many dimensions and allows us to:

  • Create development opportunities for our employees and strengthen relationships among them – working in a diverse environment allows us to learn from each other, reach higher, acquire new skills, and ultimately build stronger bonds.
  • Make better decisions – we approach challenges and decision-making broadly, by colliding different perspectives, thoughtfully engaging different individuals, in different roles, from different areas within the company.
  • Innovation – openness, clashing different approaches is a source of innovative solutions for us, allowing us to be competitive in the market and an inspiration to each other.
  • Better understanding of our clients and recipients of our services – a diverse, multicultural Team is able to better understand and respond to the needs of our clients, thus delivering personalized solutions to them.
  • Strengthening our image – by being an attractive employer, we increase the chances of attracting more talents and clients to the company.
  • Compliance with formal regulations and socially accepted norms and expectations – by creating a fair and consistent work environment, compliant with Polish requirements regarding equal treatment in employment.

We are aware that implementing any strategy is a process spread over time. We know that we still have much to do in the area of continuously expanding our DEI strategy – adds Aleksandra Kamieniecka.
