Client overview
Our client is a bank that belongs to a multinational group whose companies are also engaged in brokerage, asset management, investment funds, leasing, factoring, bancassurance insurance services and private banking. Our client is a commercial bank that boasts one of the highest asset values of all banks in Poland. It serves both private and corporate clients, tailoring its offerings to their individual expectations and needs.
Services provided
Our partnership began in 2021 and consisted of providing IT specialists on a staff augmentation basis to support the client’s digital development initiatives.
Projects purpose
A team of our IT specialists was directed to a project to develop the bank’s new mobile application for both Android and iOS devices.
Project Team
Our cooperation included providing versatile IT professionals with various roles in the client’s project and specializing in technologies, including:
- Developers (iOS, Android)
- Leader of developers (Android)
- Manual testers
Recruitment process
The recruitment process to ensure that our IT specialists were properly matched to our client’s specific needs took from 7 days to a maximum of two weeks. During the course of our cooperation to date, we have provided 25 specialists, 14 of whom were simultaneously working on the project at the client at the time of peak demand.
Conclusion
Mobile apps are a product without which we can no longer imagine the functioning of modern banks – both as individual customers and as a company that co-creates these products for a large number of partners in the banking sector. Thanks to mobile applications, banking becomes accessible to users from anywhere, at any time of the day, and for banks – a tool to communicate with customers and an opportunity to sell more services. Our client appreciated our experience in developing mobile applications for the banking sector, and the decision to choose our IT specialists resulted in the creation of a completely new application. The expert knowledge of our IT specialists was highly valued and appreciated by the client, as evidenced by the assignment of the role of developer leadership.
